About Project Pathway

It all started with the four of us sitting around a table at our favorite boba spot, Cha Cha Cha—cups of matcha and tiger teas in hand, a bunch of half-formed ideas, and one shared feeling: we wanted to do something that mattered. All of us are from India, and every time we visit, we’ve witnessed a harsh reality—kids our age or younger on the streets, selling trinkets, asking for food, or simply watching the world pass them by. Many of them don’t go to school, not because they don’t want to, but because they can’t. It always stuck with us—especially because we’ve grown up surrounded by opportunity: laptops, weekend STEM classes, mentors who believed in us.That day at Cha Cha Cha, we asked ourselves a big question: What if we could use what we have to create a pathway for someone else? That was the beginning of Project Pathway—a youth-led initiative to bring tech access, mentorship, and learning opportunities to students in under-resourced communities, especially in India. We got to work right away. Late-night texts turned into long brainstorm sessions. We designed flyers, made lesson plans, and nervously set up for our first Python workshop at the local library. People showed up. They asked questions. They learned. And they donated. That workshop was our first step—and it reminded us that change doesn’t have to start big. It just has to start.Since then, we’ve grown. We continue to host workshops, raise funds, and connect with schools and communities that need support. Every donation is another step on someone’s pathway—toward education, confidence, and a better future. We're still just getting started, but we believe in the power of showing up, starting small, and doing it together. Thanks for walking this path with us.
